..Tatiana was promoted from preschool. This is a big deal here.She needed a new school uniform, new socks and shoes and her fingernails painted. We were at the school at 8:15 for rehearsal,the program started at 9 and it finished to come home at noon.There were 20 children promoted. I had the honor to escort her in, out and to the front to receive her diploma. We are very thankful she was promoted. Just recently, we found out she didn't have a birth certificate, that you must have to be promoted from"preschool". And to make matters worse, neither her mom or dad have one either. She was allowed to participate in the ceremony, but I still don't know if she officially graduated yet!

Neither of the boys are in school. They run the streets of the city, while mom "works".
At the end of the ceremony, I was able to get a group shot. I was excited, both of her parents came. This photo is still missing one sister that lives with an aunt. Tatiana's mom is in prostitution, but her dad claims a few of her siblings. And by Tatiana's eyes, I agree he is her dad. I had to work at getting this photo, dad didn't want a "family photo" with all those kids. And mom didn't want dad in it at all. But we all agreed the day was about Tatiana. So, we did eventually get the shot.
