...the prodigal returns!

A few weeks ago Nicaragua had a holiday. It caused a stirring here at House of Hope. Our girls were glad to be here and out of prostitution, but they also knew a lot of partying, music, and dancing in the streets was going on in the city at night. For a few of our girls, the call of the world became to great. A couple of the young teenage girls ran away. We searched the streets, and notified the police, but to no avail, they found their way back to the partying and boys. We were able to find them a couple days later, but they had shacked up with men where there was drugs, sex and alcohol. Their mom's were upset, but wouldn't help us get them out of the situation. After a couple weeks of many prayers and tears, both girls became aware that the lifestyle they were living was wrong and they moved back home to their moms. Guilt kept them from facing everyone here at House of Hope, and so they hid in their homes, refusing to return to us.
This past week, we had a ministry team here. While everyone was working and praying, one of the men(Spanish speaking) on the team, went with Oscar to visit the girls in their homes. They shared compassion and love to the girls and..........Praise God,our prodigal daughters returned!
